Kenya's Eco-Progressive Ideology
The National Forum Party (NFP) is Kenya's Eco-Progressive ideology β a registered political party guided by the belief that sustainable prosperity can only be achieved when environmental health, social justice and economic development advance together.
NFP is registered with the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) and operates across all 47 counties. Our registered office is at Apeal Apartments, Ground Floor, Lumumba Drive, Nairobi (P.O. Box 41018-00100). We have branch structures from ward level right up to the National Executive Committee.
Our slogan "Tuko One, Tuko True" β meaning We are one, we are authentic β captures our commitment to unity, truth and collective purpose. NFP's manifesto for 2027β2032 prioritises three flagship areas: Youth Employment & SME Growth, Agriculture & Agro-Ecology, and Health, Social Protection & Community Development.

Eco-Progressive Guiding Principles
NFP's Eco-Progressivism rests on five core pillars and is driven by Kenya's real challenges: high power tariffs, youth joblessness, deforestation and chronic disease.
Ecological Stewardship
Conserving forests, rivers and biodiversity is essential for long-term prosperity. Kenya loses 12,000 ha of forest per year β we will reverse this.
Social Justice
Access to education, health care, water, clean energy and decent work is a right, not a privilege.
Economic Inclusion
Public-private cooperation must create equitable opportunities β youth employment, SME support and fair trade for all Kenyans.
Technological Innovation
Harnessing Ethical AI, digital tools and green technology accelerates agricultural productivity, healthcare delivery and citizen participation.
Ethical Governance
Transparency, devolution and anti-corruption measures ensure efficient use of resources. Kenya loses KES 608 billion annually to corruption β we will end this.
People β Reducing Inequality
67% of Kenya's youth aged 15β34 are unemployed. NFP will create decent jobs and halve youth unemployment through industrial growth and SME support.
Planet β Restoring the Environment
Plant 200 million trees; achieve zero net deforestation by 2027; restore Mau, Cherangany and Mt Kenya water towers for future generations.
Integrity & Accountability
Governance that protects public resources. Digitise all public procurement; publish all tenders online; conduct lifestyle audits for senior officials.
Party History
NFP's Eco-Progressive manifesto for 2027β2032 addresses 12 sectors with evidence-based proposals, short/medium/long-term implementation timelines and clear accountability targets.
Education
Recruit 40,000 teachers; build 8,000 eco-friendly classrooms; equip 5,000 schools with solar-powered digital labs. Long-term goal: PTR of 30β35:1 nationally.
Health & Social Protection
Create NHIF+ with progressive premiums; recruit 25,000 community health workers; ban new HHP imports. Target: UHC coverage above 80%, maternal mortality below 250 per 100,000.
Green Energy & Industry
Review all PPAs to lower tariffs; add 2,500 MW of renewables; establish Kenya Clean-Tech Manufacturing Cluster. Long-term: 95% renewable grid; Kenya as green energy exporter.
Agriculture & Agro-Ecology
Ban HHPs; subsidise organic fertilisers; establish food-residue testing labs. Medium-term: reduce HHP use by 50%; restore soil on 500,000 ha. Long-term: 70% of farms organic.
Youth Employment & SMEs
Launch Youth Employment Guarantee Scheme (YEGS) β 100 days paid work annually; cut SME tax to 1.5%; create KES 50 billion SME Recovery Fund; build 12 green industrial parks.
Digital Economy & AI
Double broadband to 80%; introduce coding & AI modules in 47 counties; establish National AI Research Institute; create digital innovation hubs in every county.
Governance & Devolution
Digitise all public procurement; increase county allocation to 30%; establish Eco-Justice Tribunals; cut corruption losses by 50% through AI-based fraud detection.
Environment & Climate
Plant 200 million trees; achieve zero net deforestation by 2027; restore water towers; increase forest cover to 15% by 2030; develop National Climate Adaptation Fund.
